Clarifyr is operated by BV Consulting AB (org.nr 559249-2580), headquartered in Viken, Sweden. We provide a knowledge base ingestion and retrieval API for businesses.

2. Data we collect
We collect the following data when you use Clarifyr:
- Account data – name, email address, company name
- Usage data – API requests, query volume, sync history
- Content data – documents, articles and videos you sync to Clarifyr for indexing
- Technical data – IP address, browser type, access logs (retained for 30 days)
3. How we use your data
- To provide and improve the Clarifyr service
- To generate vector embeddings for semantic search
- To send transactional emails (account, billing)
- To detect and prevent abuse
We do not use your content to train AI models. Your data is processed solely to deliver the service you've contracted for.
4. Where your data lives
All data is stored in Sweden (UpCloud SE-STO-1 region). AI inference runs via Mistral AI, hosted in France. No data leaves the European Union.

6. Your rights under GDPR

7. Data retention
Account and content data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days. Access logs are retained for 30 days. You may request deletion at any time.
8. Changes to this policy
We will notify you by email at least 30 days before making material changes to this policy.
